Our Story

Kinetic MedX was created to give people a simple, easy to follow health and fitness service founded on the principles of care and authenticity.

The question we faced was this: The urge to want to make a difference, to better peoples lives through education and dedication. We understood the challenges of living a healthy, fit and well-balanced life and we wanted to share our experiences in the hope of inspiring and helping others.

What Inspired Us?

How do we give people a home; A place based in community, care, movement, health and longevity?

How do we address the people who are so stressed from everyday life that they start to feel lost?

“I’m uncomfortable in my body.” 

“I don’t want to exercise.” 

“I don’t feel like working out.” 

“That hurts me.”

“It’s too hard, it’s not for me.”

“I need to get in better shape before I can do that.”

Sooner or later everyone deals with these very real issues sooner or later. Eventually everyone deals with stress, with self doubt, injury or limitation, whether it is genetic, acute, traumatic or age related.

We understand what it’s like to endure those burdens. We are human too, and we don’t pretend otherwise. We want people to be active on a daily basis. We want to teach, educate and promote a healthy, lifestyle where movement is medicine.

We created Kinetic MedX to help any person achieve their goals and change their lives for the better. We are teachers and healers and it is through this service to others that we find purpose in self.

Our Founder: Alan Anderson

I truly believe that the coaching lifestyle found me.

At the start of my coaching career I gained in-depth knowledge and experience in Special Operation Forces training, metabolic conditioning, mental toughness, self-talk, focus, breathing and discipline concepts. Over the last decade, I have gained additional skills and qualifications in program adaptability, exercise programming, biomechanics and nutrition. I have helped hundreds of clients shed pounds, from those extremely overweight and out of shape, to hard charging athletes and weekend warriors.

Over the years and as my qualifications and experience grew, I realized that fitness and weight loss is just the surface layer. What is really important are the intangibles that it comes with— a new hold on life, improved relationships and the confidence to live your dreams. To be happy, to be free and to be in the present moment. To enjoy life as much as possible.

I am a coach, but what sets me apart is that I recognize first and foremost that I am a normal guy. I am imperfect, I am honest with myself and I will be honest with you. I know the challenges of being extremely overweight, battling depression, anxiety, pain, limitations, and excuses. I want to connect with you, I want to help you be the best version of yourself. I look forward to meeting you, and helping you on this journey we call life.
